The faces settle differently: Ogawa 1.0-1.4 mm, thin but stiff, fast and crisp, little break-in; Tuscany 1.5-1.8 mm, dense and stiffer at first, then steady; Horween 1.3-2.2 mm, resilient, long lived; calfskin conforms after 100 to 200 shots.
