A bow holder hook takes the weight of the bow between shots, so you are not holding it while scoring or waiting. VLBB makes two. The belt-threaded version threads onto a 4 cm belt and stays put, with a leather loop and an elastic safety system that holds the limb, which is the one to take for a full day on a course. The clip-on version has a metal clip, goes on and off the belt in a second and rides higher, which suits target lines and short sessions. Both hold recurve and traditional limbs. The belt is not included, and ours are 4 cm wide.
