Spacers

A finger spacer sits between the drawing fingers so they do not pinch the nock, and it belongs to the split-finger hook only. Three-under and two-under archers do not need one, because the fingers sit together below the nock. VLBB spacers come in three materials: ABS plastic is firm and slick, polyamide is slightly softer and quieter on the release, and the wooden spacer has a natural grip and a bit of give. All three thread onto the tab. If you are buying a first tab and are not sure which hook you shoot, the spacer is the part to add later, once the hook has settled.
