“I can tell there is not much of a difference. The Horween-leather seems to smell more like leather – while the Clayton is neutral.
Both are equally slick and fast, but the Horween seems to be a little bit softer – it adapts to my hand
and the string during one training session – with the Clayton-tabs I need two or three trainings of about 120 arrows each – and a little sweat
on my fingers to have them fit perfectly. As I did not manage to ruin a tab from you by wearing it out until now, I guess both will last very long
– so being softer is not a disadvantage of the Horween.
If I had to choose the Horween would be first choice – but both tabs are perfectly made and cut from very fine leather.”
Of the two leathers compared here, Horween is the one in the shop, in the split finger tab, the three under tab and the two under tab.
