Is the stalker quiver a back quiver?

No. It is its own type, an old one, not my invention. Its strength is the slit down its side: while stalking you draw the arrow out through it, as easily as from a field or target quiver, instead of reaching over your shoulder. In carrying it does resemble a back quiver: wear it at your side, or slide it round onto your back, and it sits more like a shoulder bag. The name says it, a hunting quiver for the woods, though it is fine at a competition too. The lambswool collar keeps the arrows quiet, and it holds more than a dozen.
