How big should a stitch be on a string-walking archery tab?

Many string-walking archers find the stitches a bit too wide and want smaller ones. To have more smaller stitches in my experience is a wrong approach.
If you think of a ruler or tape measure, where there are cm scales which are like stitches: 10 cm can be 10 stitches in cms or 100 stitches in mms. If we want to count say 55 mms it would be easier on the cm scale, than on the mm scale. There is lower risk to measure inaccurately in case of the cm scale. That is you count 5 and a half instead of 55. I believe the relatively big stitch involves lower risk than the small one. The bigger stitch can be halved, third or quartered according to your needs.
VLBB tab was originally designed for string-walking since I’m a stringwalker, too. If you happen to lose your regular VLBB tab and somebody lends you regular one, you can trust it, because the stitches are the same on each regular VLBB tab.
